My morning ritual has always been coffee. Other than the occasional energy drink, coffee has always been the way to start the day. I’ve been drinking coffee for over two decades, and always have a cup of coffee with breakfast. In fact, I don’t know how I lived without it. Coffee is wonderful. It makes you feel energized, alert, happy, and generally on the go. Ah, that’s the way it should be. But if you’re like myself and have been battling the dreaded mid-morning slump, you know that it’s not always easy to start the day with a fresh cup of coffee. Even with those 5 or 6 cups a day, I would often feel jittery and tired.

University of Illinois researchers tested the effect of iced coffee on blood sugar control, and they found that iced coffee may aid weight loss and improve metabolic health. Iced coffee is a beverage that has no added sugar or cream, which is the same thing as having no calories. The beverage is prepared by placing ice in an empty cup and then adding hot coffee. The term iced coffee is a misnomer, as the beverage is not chilled.

It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a nice, hot cup of coffee. Iced coffee is just too refreshing, and with the summer heat and humidity, I can’t think of a better way to enjoy a cup of iced coffee. Iced coffee is as simple, and as delicious, as making a pitcher of hot coffee, and chilling it.

Keto coffee is something that almost everyone has tried or at least heard of. Millions of people enjoy it since it has changed the ketogenic diet. It has a slew of advantages, including helping you start your day with a healthy dose of fat. But what about those scorching summer days or those days when you don’t want to drink anything hot? Throughout the year, I like frozen coffee! With our Coffee on the Keto Diet recipe, we’ve completely transformed the coffee game.

Coffee that is bulletproof

It’s not just the chilled component that sets our Coffee on the Keto Diet apart from other bulletproof coffees. To get the creamy, fatty texture, we use MCT oil and heavy whipping cream. The amazing thing about MCT oil is that, unlike butter and coconut oil, it does not harden when cold. Keto coffee won’t have any fat chunks in it!

Our Keto Iced Bulletproof coffee is perfect for a burst of energy, or for a nice tasty drink to help cool you off during a hot day!

Iced Coffee on the Keto Diet

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill iced coffee. To achieve a thicker, frothier consistency, we added a secret ingredient, often known as the X factor in our house. Xanthan gum is an optional but highly recommended component! You’re missing out if you haven’t tried it yet. It’s a thickening agent that’s fantastic in soups and gravies, and who doesn’t like those two things?

Keto Coffee

Warning: If this is your first time using MCT oil, we recommend starting with a lesser dose than the recipe suggests. Starting with 1 to 2 teaspoons and watching how your body reacts is a good idea. At first, it may cause intestinal problems and discomfort. Simply increase the amount of heavy whipping cream to compensate. If you’re a caffeine junkie or simply enjoy the flavor of coffee, try our Bulletproof Coffee and, for a little extra fun, our Irish Coffee (alcoholic). But if you ask Matthew and me which one is our favorite, we’d both choose Keto Coffee!

Options for Additional Ingredients

  • Sea salt is a great way to spice up your bulletproof coffee, whether it’s hot or cold. It enhances the drink’s creamy flavors while also providing much-needed salt to your keto diet.
  • Collagen Peptides — In addition to providing a slew of health benefits, they will thicken and cream up your keto coffee.
  • Sweeteners (sugar substitutes) – Flavored sweet drops or sugar-free flavored coffee syrups are the greatest options for sweetening this iced keto coffee. A little goes a long way in turning your keto coffee into a sweet delight!
