Advancing Health Equity and Public Sector Unions

Among the projects I’m working on, two might be of some interest to readers of this blog. I’ve been working on a commentary “Declining Economic Fortunes, Health Disadvantages and Faux Populism in the United States” for a health economics journal and the efforts of my (teacher’s) union to shore up support among members based on the certainty that the Supreme Court will rule in Janus v. AFSCME to strike down the requirement that public sector employees pay “agency fees”.
